The relevance of government could be better appreciated through the understanding of the natural form of man.
The truth is by nature , a man is said to be societal nor organised , hence he is naturally individualistic , and the method and character of organizing himself in the society is also individualistic.
The government is formed from among the members of the society but its distinctive nature arises from the fact that all individual powers are transferred to this body , thereby rendering individuals powerless to make the government powerful for the promotion of general as against selfish or individual interests...so government could therefore be seen as a marriage of convenient which is entered into the people of the society for the protection and promotion of collective goodness....from this explanation , government is not expected to be too far from the people and the manner of its relationship with the populace supposed to be a friendly one designed towards promotion of general well-being and peace...
