We are instruments.

Each of us are instruments, waiting to be used. Our disposition is the one that will have an impact on our lives and our environment, since if we are willing to be used as God wants and we turn our will away from Him, we will be opening up great opportunities in our life and causing changes in our environment.

Acts 9:15

15 But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel.

Being used by God is a privilege, because He is the one who chooses us. God knows our abilities and therefore he knows in which area you are better. It is we who put up barriers because we feel that we are not capable and that is why we often deviate from God's purpose for our lives.

When we understand that God will have control of everything if we let Him use us as He wants, there the best of us will flourish.

I am usually a somewhat shy person. In the school exhibitions I always got very nervous and when in my church I was given the position of teacher 3 years ago, I thought it was a mistake, but God is the one who knows our abilities. He directs us and gives us words, when we accept what He demands of us. In this way we are instruments in his hands, he is the one who does the work and then he brings out the best melody from us.

2 Timothy 2:21

21 So if anyone cleanses himself of these things, he will be an instrument for honor, sanctified, useful to the Lord, and ready for every good work.

Let us try to be useful instruments for God, always willing and maintaining a life away from sin, always doing good in front of the Lord.
