I'm not a picture type, but I have this unendless love for black and white pictures, this picture was taken after sunday service.
We left home around 9am in the morning to church and come back 4pm, so it was an hectic day, it's been long I worship in my home church, so I took this picture for remembrance...
At the church I met so many new faces and it's was our new year convenant service, everyone was happy, singing,dancing and praising God .
People were ask to give testimonies and special numbers, and their rendition was quite interesting, as I enjoy everybit of this session...
After that, a member of each household was called upon to the alter to represent their family. This time was the convenant service proper, first and furthermost you have to thank God for his provision and protections and also enter a convenant with him and also ask God to continue to bless and protect you through out the year.
So I was the one representing my family 鈽猴笍, I was so nervous and the same time happy for the unique privilege and opportunity to stay Infront of the church congregation after along time.....
So it finally get to my turn, I was called upon, I rush to the alter smiling, I was very happy... I thanked God for his love, protection, provide and for always being there for me, I also thanked God on behalf of my family members..then donate a token and make my convenant... I concluded this part with a lovely song....
After all this was done, it was time for preaching 鈽猴笍, our pastor really took out time to elaborate on what convenant means, he said we should all stick to what we have said in the alter and after that prayers were said
The next segment was the communion session, confessions were made, hymns were sang, the communion is for all full members in our church (baptist) who have read and understand the tenets of our faith, and has being baptized in water and by the holy spirit. Few prayers were said, we moved to the alter to take the communion and wine serve by our pastor and other elders of the church..
And this was already 3pm (we spent more than 4hours in church that day馃ぃ) so everyone was already exhausted, but it was a sweet moment, because sweet are the promises of God lol
We shared the grace in fellowship and it was time the departure, one of the elders said everyone should wait, at this time I was furious, within me i was like "what again" but guess what 鈽猴笍 it was time for entertainment, it's refreshing right? Food were shared.
We all ate and drank to stupor, we all dismissed.
I forgot to snapped in church, so when i got home I ask my cousin to take a photo of me, here comes the black and white pictures that is gracing your screen鈾ワ笍
