I applied to work with UAC company to work as a temporary BA for their new products, Zuri spices.
I got the Job through a frend who also works as a BA to other companies . So I joined the company's group and the cordinator for the job called me up to interview me and also explain how it works. He asked if i am ready and I told him, Yes.
The Job was a 3 days work and each day I had so many experiences.
On the first day, I was given 20 rolls of Zuri Spices to sell and few free samples to give those that bought. It was very hard on the first because many people haven't heard of the Product before and UAC company is popularly known for their product "Gala", a very delicious Sauguage rolls. I was able to sell only 10 rolls of the spices. I advertised, convinced, persuaded and encouraged the consumers that the product is very safe for health.
I carried the rest to my boss, then he told me to close my account for the day. He said I should take the rest home and advertise to my street vendors too. When I got home, I sold 7 rolls to a business woman in my street. Making it 17 rolls for the day.
The next day, 23 rolls each was shared amongst me and my colleagues, and we moved to a different market from the one of yesterday. The 1st market we went to for that day, I sold 12 rolls with so much persuasion and a beautiful smile that is always on my face. The experiences I had in that market was both positive and negative. The negative side was that a lot of people ignored me, some told me they hate using spices for their dishes which I agreed with them and went my way. The positive side was how alot of people complimented on how I approach people with a smile, and I was good-looking too which made them to patronize me.
My boss took us to a different market that same day. I was only able to sell just 3 rolls, alot of people didn't want to buy. I took the remaining 8 home and brought it the next day.
On 3rd day, which was also the last day. I was given 15 rolls and I added the 8 rolls from yesterday. It was 23 total and I was able to sell all in the market and neighborhoods. I didn't have much challenges that day cause I have adapted to the marketing Saga already.
My Salary? It wasn't delayed and i got paid that same day. I was able to use the money and to sort my school bills while saving the rest to myself.
Stay tuned, cause I will be dropping more stories like this 馃槉.
