I made this image, as most of wildlife pictures, in a dull, absolutely boring grove in the middle of dry season when vegetation was covered by thick layer of dust.
However, some skills and long lens made it possible to arrange elements inside photo in such a way that image turned out like photographed in some magic forest.
In this image I was able to choose a shooting angle at which dry spines appear on foreground and background is filled with a large tree covered with wilted leaves. Shallow depth of field turned spines into magic bells and tree on background donated beautiful gamma of yellows and oranges.
Don't let dulness and boredom of the environment lock your creativity. There is always a potential for a great image. Everywhere.
