The Spring or Vernal Equinox is a solar event that happens once a year, usually on and around the 21st of March (Northern Hemisphere), which marks the end of winter and beginning of spring.
Equinox translated into English means, Equal Night - aequus (“equal”) + nox (“night”).
Days in a year with the equal amount of daylight hours occur on two occasions, the Spring(Vernal) Equinox and the Autumn (autumnal) Equinox - In the Southern Hemisphere, they are about to go through the Autumn Equinox –
Why this time of year in the northern hemisphere is important, is because for six months the sun’s glorious power has been sitting below the Horizon, in the sense that the Sun’s height in the sky has been at its lowest and the strength/light frequency emitted has been at a minimum, which is why it is colder and not much grows during this period.
On and around the 21st of March the northern hemisphere receives its first life-giving Jolt of light energy from the sun since the previous summer, and from this point forward things come to life as days becoming longer and temperatures go higher as we head into the summer.
My understanding of the vernal equinox is that although it happens on one single day, it’s a process that actually happens over a 3 day period as the Earth makes its adjustments to its new relationship with the Sun and its effects on us and nature only get fully realised about a week after it has occurred.

Nearly every religion and culture around the world has some sort of celebration on or just after the vernal spring equinox, in astrology it is represented as Aries a time of rebirth and new beginnings whose element is fire which symbolises the heat and light from the sun and the Ram represents male fertility, aggression, and courage.

Spring Equinox and a boom in the crypto prices
I must mention that over the last few years cryptocurrencies prices seem to go up in value from late March, (please look at the charts)
Last year
It’s nothing drastic but prices across the board always mover higher after this month, this by the way is not a coincidence, because as nature comes alive, so do most western economies, from January till the end of march the weather is either cold or wet, which has an effect on people, so they tend to preserve their energy, and their money, then out of nowhere, green leaves start sprouting, flowers start blooming, and birds start tweeting again, this explosion in colours and sounds, uplifts people and brings optimism.
As the sun gets higher in the sky, so does our levels of Excitement, and if this year is anything like last year, in terms of cryptocurrency prices and Blockchain adoption, then we can expect upward movement all the way to the summer solstice in June.
I’m not psychic, but if you look at cycles in nature in relation to human habits, It's obvious that after the spring equinox the world goes into an uptick, which is thanks to the extra light frequencies being pumped out by the sun.
