Homosexuality is a condition that does not affect human health at all. To condemn homosexuals, to discriminate against them on their own, is as absurd as to discriminate against blacks, Latinos, and even whites (yes, there is also discrimination against whites, despite what certain groups may say).
Some typical objections that can be raised against homosexuality:
NO. Homosexuality is an orientation, with biological components of genetic, epigenetic, hormonal and another origin.
This is completely irrelevant. To begin with, it was never claimed that there is a "gay gene". This is just a straw man on the part of those who continue to see homosexuality as a bad thing today, a product of their religious worldview, and they intend to place science as the backbone of their affirmations of faith. But this is not effective.
That is assuming that homosexuality throughout the animal kingdom should be like in humans. But that's a big mistake. There is no reason or reason to assume that, and therefore it is a fallacious assumption. Therefore, it is only necessary to find homosexual behavior in the other animals (which, therefore, lack the component of "choice" that is attributed to humans, this being based on purely biological reasons) to validate animal homosexuality. To expect to find exactly the same human characteristics in another animal is, in fact, an error in analysis and procedure that no serious scientist would expect to obtain (which is why studies with mice are not determinant for results in humans, for example).
That's just a fallacy of anecdotal evidence, apart from being false. There is not a single documented, peer-reviewed study in any indexed journal to prove this point. This is only stated by means of anecdotes, but they are not reliable. In fact, there have been cases where even pastors of churches and rehabilitation centers have confessed that such therapies do not work and that they themselves are homosexual:
