Hey hey, music community 馃槉. It's #threetunetuesday time once again and today, sadly, I don't have any new festival experience to share... 馃槶馃槶
However, I'll do my best to keep it interesting because in today's posts I'll share with you my favourite Portuguese songwriter and singer (note to self - well, at least currently my favourite 馃榿).
Actually, I already shared one song of him, back in week 31 of Three Tune Tuesday, which was my first #ttt post ever (note to self - OMG, I've been on this for quite some time now 馃挄).

With that being said, and since I don't have many new exciting adventures to tell, I'll stick to the subject today 馃槉 (note to self - you can now sigh with relief 馃槄)
Manuel Cruz is a portuguese songwriter and singer. For me, he's one of the most soulful artist I have ever met! I saw him live once already but I definitely wanna repeat that experience as soon as I can 馃槅. It's truly an immersive experience because it's only him, a guitar and a mic, nothing else.
There is so much beauty in simplicity!
Music-wise, his tunes are just beautiful and musically very diverse. Not that I'm the best person to evaluate the technicalities of music, that's too much sand for my truck. My music-o-meter ( note to self - see what I did there? 馃槅) is usually more synced to the feelings and vibes the song passes on.
Manuel Cruz is the master in that! He sings to your soul 馃挄
Regarding the lyrics, they are all in portuguese so it will be hard to explain. However, this man is a poet! They are all very powerful and full of underlying meanings. I catch myself sometimes still trying to decipher some of them 馃槅. I'm realising now that he was probably my major influence in trying to write poems as well. Don't worry, I won't even try to turn them into songs 馃槀 (note to self - let's hope NOT! My boyfriend keeps insisting...).
Anyways, even though you may not understand the lyrics, I hope you can connect to Manuel Cruz's melodies!
