All of my cats are pure indoor cats, but there are a huge number of my neighbors that have "cat flaps" on their doors and let their cats run loose. They're not spayed, they're not neutered, becuase "that's mutilation" --eye roll--

And, of course, when I try, very politely, to remind people of local ordinances about keeping their pets maintained, they basically tell me to piss off.
