Blockchain consortium Hyperledger has added nine new members, among which the vendor of IT-services LG CNS, a blockchain startup Omnitude and platform for data verification Tierion. To date, the organization includes more than 250 companies.
Among the new participants Hyperledger: Coal, Digital Chain, Chain guard, DigiCert, Kiva, and UTRUST.
"In order to meet the global demand for blockchain development, we focused on increasing our growth and promoting open source software in the second half of the year," Hyperledger blog says.
Also at the end of July the release of the new white paper consortium took place. As the developers said, the document contains "five exciting applications of blockchain in various fields", as well as a description of open source tools.
We will note, the other day Google Corporation declared that this year on the platform of Google Cloud Product integrates the software with an open source code for applications on the basis of blockchain platforms Hyperledger Fabric and Ethereum.
""We believe Google would benefit from high speed development on the basis of Hyper ledger Fabric," commented Executive Director Hyperledger Brian Behlendorf.
