I observed Wolf of Wall Street as a sort of 'this is your brain on regan-era cocaine and capitalism' - this is what an unregulated market looks like to someone who knows how to absolutely cheat it.
What I like about Scorsese is that he is able to pick apart the stories of people he directs and finds out what could be true and if so, why we should avoid people like these!
