Everybody's heard about Spotify. They were in the news with the purchase of the startup Mediachain, probably for a bargain. And I'm sure they won't be the only effort to better connect artist/sellers and fan/buyers using Ethereum.

6. The Ethereum EFT.
The Winklevoss Twins have been trying to get their Bitcoin ETF (Exchange-trade-fund) approved for years. It was rejected recently, but now it's back up for reevaluation. Now Ethereum has an ETF that's up on the SEC's to do list. Approved or not, The Ethereum ETF is farting on this fire.

5. The Schism in the Bitcoin community
Ethereum wouldn't be here without Bitcoin. However, Bitcoin's scalability issues are currently causing serious tensions and uncertainties. At the same time, the price keeps going up! Right now about $1343.00. You could technically buy $1 worth of Bitcoin and get around .00075 BTC, but you must also, at very least, include the network's transaction fee. I imagine the average person is more willing to invest $50-100 for 1 ETH than for .0748 BTC, but totally my opinion.
