WTF !!!! When BTC surged to surpass 12k yesterday the entire Binance website went down and if you had any orders which you had not keyed in or you wanting to close position .. you would have been literally screwed !

All we had was this 404 error from binance site. However the problem with this was that the traffic was extremely high which caused the entire website to go down .. from what Binance had said. ( if you believe them )

Those who were trading using 3rd party apps were still ok as those trades were going thru the API. So for me it was not too damaging however its still a problem !

The Solution !

Go download the desktop app from Binance.com website. Just scroll down a lil and you should be able to see the desktop app which you can download.

I tried downloading it and installing it ... its way much faster then going to the website to do what you need and during the high traffic, you should not get the problem with the 404. Hopefully this would resolve the that issue and will keep you all inform of the progress.

I like the responsiveness of the app for now ... but then again .. just started using it therefore will feedback more in a later date. Do give it a try if you are running your trades on Binance as well.
