The first thought that comes to my mind is worship. The insect of the highly raised "hand" is worshiped only to him known God, praying, crying or perhaps only expressing his gratitude for the received blessings and grace. Yes, I know how all this strange sounds, but human beings can learn a lot from these little, simple beings.
