These days I was looking for a butterfly called Small heath from the Nymphalidae family (Lat. Coenonympha pamphilus). It's very difficult to get to the distance that is needed to made better photo, every time I approach a butterfly, somehow he felt my presence and move to another place. I hope that in some recent time I will be able to make even better photos of this beauty.
In the past week, I have been stubbornly trying to figure out which one is this butterfly. There are several very similar types of butterflies that further complicate the identification of this little one. But today I finally succeeded!
As I followed the butterfly and crawled on the grass, I made several photos of some other species that were nearby.
