These days began to fall spring snow! Anyone who knows the poplar trees, also knows that every year in May poplar trees produce and release white matter that resembles cotton fibers.
The canal where I go on a daily walk literally was white of that substance, it flying everywhere and really reminds me of snow in some moments. The water surface of the canal is almost completely covered with this white matter.
Many people are allergic to this white matter! Luckily, the whole thing in the reproductive process in the poplar trees lasts only a week. This flying cotton really knows to irritates, and therefore most people avoid going to the canal in that period, as you can see I'm not one of them!
During today's walk I made several photos that will best illustrate to you what I'm talking about. In addition to the so-called spring snow, I photographed as always butterflies, as well as flowers of rose hip.
As I watched the butterflies that flew everywhere, one landed on me. It's not that normal, it does not happen so often. Of course I made a photo, I felt privileged and honored, I thanked the butterfly on this wonderful gesture!
