These days, when I find myself walking by the canal in nature, I have noticed many times that there is almost complete silence. Today while spending time outside enjoying in the beautiful weather I noticed a bee circling around the dandelion flower, in fact I first heard it and thought it was it! I miss those sounds that make insects, birds and all other smaller or larger animals.
During the year I saw a little blue bird several times, every time I saw it, I wondered what this bird was?! For the last two weeks, I have seen it fly just above the water almost every day. In the meantime, I found out it was a Kingfisher! This type of bird has never inhabited the area where I live, at least I don't remember ever seeing it before! I did some basic research to find out more about this bird as well as its habits etc. Every day I try to figure out where their nest is ie. a hiding place because they reside underground. I do all of these to make it easier to photograph them, but until I figure out where their habitat is, I'll have to photograph some other birds, maybe swans like I did today.
