Today I want to tell you how I deceived the admiral. Since early spring, I've been watching and studying this butterfly, and during all these months I've noticed one of its characteristics. He, like most butterflies, is extremely territorial, which means that by all means he keeps and protects his territory from possible intruders. I often felt that he literally came to me and touched me for a moment, in that way he tried to get me out of the territory he dominated. Another thing about him that I noticed is that he loves a particular white wild flower, I picked up some of that flower and rubbed it on my left hand. I came to an area where I know that they are living, soon one has already circled around me, I stretched out my left hand while in my right hand there was an already prepared camera. After a few minutes, the admiral landed on my left hand, probably attracted by the scent of white wildflowers on my arm. He was perfectly calm, I had quite enough time to make a dozen photos in peace. My deception was successful. I hope you like my story, as well as the attached photos.
