While walking in nature today I noticed one truly amazing scene. Very often nature surprises us with some very simple things that are at the same time, I can freely say magnificent! Specifically, I saw a bee on one of the remaining wildflowers, and this is nothing strange in itself, but since the day was very cold and windy it was very unusual to see any insect.
Bees are characterized by some qualities that are truly admirable, such as: diligence, dedication, good workers, etc. During warm days we can see them working tirelessly from early morning till evening. The whole hierarchy in one hive is perfectly organized, each bee has its own tasks according to its place in that hierarchy.
I took a few photos of that scene, and I have to admit, that picture made me think! The bee I saw was barely moving, probably freezing from the cold and wind, but she didn't give up on her task. Most likely she will never even make it back to her hive. A great sacrifice for the benefit of others, something like this must be respected and admired.
