It's not always easy to approach a butterfly, sometimes I trying for weeks, even months, to capture a scene of particular butterfly. From experience I say to you: if you want to photograph butterflies, you have to exercise patience because you will need it. You should never give up after just a few attempts to take a photo of a butterfly. You will experience a lot of frustration, you will be angry many times, you will be tired of a lot of running and all kinds of gymnastics and all this will lead you many times to quit. This may sound very hard, but I believe that anyone who chooses to photograph butterflies must pass this test. It will show you whether you or not convenient for this kind of photography.
