Throughout the year I met this beautiful wild flower on a daily basis many times, its very attractive color seems almost unreal. His petals are pink - purple with dark stripes. This is on Latin Malva sylvestris or better know as common mallow. He appeared somewhere in the middle of the spring and can still be found in the field. It is well known to the people as a folk remedy because it possesses certain medicinal properties and is good in treating certain health problems. Most people, from their own ignorance, call this plant an ordinary weed. Ignorance is not a blessing as some people believe!
