During the last week almost all of my photos were made in one place. Surrounded by tall trees and other plants, this site is protected from wind that often blows. This makes it very suitable for faster growth of vegetation, the first violets flourished here, the first flowers on fruit trees appeared here as well as many others plants.
Every day I go there for many reasons, my favorite insects, butterflies gather in that place to enjoy the natural nectars, aromas and scents that spread everywhere.
Among the everyday visitors there is a Peacock butterfly. Today, I just photographed him, almost on every flower tree you could see a specimen. After feeding, they would mostly go down to the nearby concrete path, because they like to be on open and wide areas without vegetation or some other obstacles to sunbathe.
Walking around I noticed two butterflies performing a rather strange show. I suppose they were a male and a female and their performance was actually a ritual of courting.
I made a lot of photos of these beautiful, colorful insects, but it would be too much to put them all in one post. I hope you like the photos I have chosen for you!
