A weekend to play ARK

Normally I switch up what game I play pretty often, but being back into the ARK scene it'll be a while so that I have plenty of time to build up and get established in the game. Once I am, it'll be easier to play other games as the list of things to do becomes smaller. For now, there's a lot of things to do which includes finishing building my base. This requires a lot of time to gather the materials needed!

Just another reason why I love this game. I'm sure I've mentioned this, but as a kid I used to play EverQuest. One of the main reasons was the name implied the kind of game it was. You will forever be questing a never ending story, and that isn't too far from the truth. I never actually reached true endgame in EverQuest because every time I got there, another expansion was released that would add additional endgame content. ARK feels that way to me. Although the development of the game is complete, there is a whole lot of the game that I am yet to experience. Of course, I may have gotten there if I didn't keep starting over, but it's also easy to burn out. I am taking my time and just enjoying as I go.

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

As always, it is inevitable that I may get called away from my PC mid-stream for business. I'll usually announce if I am returning, but will need to end the stream quickly when this happens.
