Number 31 in the never ending series, where one picture, (the one below) turns into a totally new work of art every Sunday, Welcome to week 31, I call it "Sad maiden".

The never ending series continues to push me creatively, and I love it. in this weeks edition, I started off with number 9, I randomly chose number 9 in the series
And I started off ironically by getting rid of the negative space and zooming into the centre, I also desaturated it (took out all the color) and then decided to overlay 22 why did I do that no good reason I was just exploring and it seemed mathematically correct
9+22 = 31, after this step I sort of got an idea for where I want to take this piece I started by shaping the composition with the liquify tool giving shape to the sad eye and a bit of the face, then I figured I wanted some hair, to stay true to the series I went to look at the past edition for a bit that I can use as hair I found number 19 in the series could be a great fit so I overlayed it and cut out the pieces that I did not want, I then proceeded to style the hair with the liqify tool, and then applied some final edits to give the composition uniformity, I also intentionaly gave the picture a lot of negative space, thats an art tearm for empty space around and between subject/subjects, I took it a bit further and used it in the literal sense the Sad maiden is surrounded by negativity looking back to the past thinking there is nothing left.
