In this post I share some of my internal hive trading experience.
I got my hands on 523 liquid HIVE and I really wanted to do some trading to build up the bag, I thought maybe I can go on hive engine and trade SWAP.HIVE for SWAP.BTC, I gave it a go and managed to make a slight profit, leaving with 538 HIVE, not a huge gain and it also took a few days, the volume is fairly low as you can see form the screenshot below.
This low volume(3.3k USD at time of screenshot) makes trading a lot slower, The volume on the internal hive market is a lot higher however its only for the HIVE/HBD pair, also the interface doesn't have a proper chart only a market depth chart.
I may give that a go sometimes but for now I gave up on the trading I ended up buying a few hive engine tokens and converted the rest of the HIVE into HBD and put it into saving for the 20% interest , with the recent price drop in the HIVE and the market overall it looks like it was a pretty good move.
