Now that LeoThreads has been released and many of the initial kinks have been filtered out it's time to start expanding yet again. The community on Leo and Hive have done a great job in using the platform and really testing it out.
The thing with applications is you could do all the testing with a beta group and QA but until you release it to the world you won't ever find all of the issues and one of the biggest is often growing pains.
If you don't yet have a hive account you can grab one up here LeoFinance.io and click on the yellow Get Started button to create your account.
You'll be delegated about 10 Hive which is enough to publish a few posts/comments each day. However I would highly recommend both powering up all of your earned hive and leo and power it all up to boost your resource credits for the blockchain allowing you to do more transactions aka comments, posts, upvotes (curation rewards) and more! If your able to I'd also recommend buying some off the markets and adding them to your hive wallet to be powered up giving you more authority on the chain. (I've been using Hive myself for 5 years)
LeoThreads is the beta version of what will soon become code named "Project Blank" (it has a much better name but wont be revelated until launch) Think of it as a combination of Twitter and Reddit. You can access it here LeoThreads
LeoThreads is going to have bugs, things that could be better etc. Look for a thread from Khal and post your suggestions in there or issues you are running into. You can also log them as a bug report in LEO discord. This feedback helps to build a better platform for all to use.
Some of the soon to come features will be...
Already just a few days in we are seeing some rather creative ways to use LeoThreads. I highly recommend using some of these yourself but above all take the time to read others and comment on their posts. Interaction like that is what gathers quality followers and quality enjoyment which builds the entire system stronger.
Now that LeoThreads has had many kinks worked out (and still developing to be better and better) it's time for us to invite others in. Here are a few powerful ways to bring others in to LeoThreads.
Share your thread on Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, Linkedin or a direct link. Or share someone elses thread you enjoy!
Write a post about LeoTheads on LeoFinance and share it with the world. Or write a article about it on another platform teaching them how to use it.
Simply mention it on others twitter powers that complain about twitter and their lack of privacy, monetization etc.
Family! Yep, your entire family could be posting and using these social networks on hive earning a rather sizable income. The thing is everyone has a unique skill set and powerful information, ideas and insight to share with the world. Why not get rewarded for it.
There you have it now go out there and start promoting LeoThreads to the world. Have other ideas? Drop them in the comments below and I'll update this article along with giving you credit for it!
