Interesting. Take another look at that 2015/2016 price action, the one where the RSI looks very similar to the RSI now: the RSI took a dip, BUT the price was remarkably stable. When it did dip, the bottom of the dip was considerably higher than the bottom of our previous dip. That implies that any dip in a consolidation period now should bottom out well ABOVE $7500. I just don't know at the moment, that market is like it was in Q1 of this year - very hard to call!
