RE: Hardfork 21 is HAPPENING. What will change?
When things like this happen, I am reminded of how my (highly corrupt) government works. They claim to serve "the people", yet serve only themselves. This does NOT bode well for STEEM! Busy dumping

...which is exactly the kind of attitude that allows tyrants to do as they please! I choose to complain bitterly and to fight injustice tooth and claw!

I agree absolutely. HF21 sounds like a pro-whale update at the expense of everybody else. Basically it sounds like the centralised government structures that we know and hate - and WHICH CRYPTO SHOULD

Oh for crying out loud! POST QUALITY is not measured by the amount of the POST PAYOUT! All that measures is populist behaviour between whales! This is a death sentence to already impoverished minnows like

RE: Crypto Market Cycles – Part 2
The articles I linked to about Bitcoin halving explain the approach of dealing with BTC mainly in terms of supply. I'm not sure why you consider a run prediction to be "clearly cyclic" - altcoins

RE: Week 50: #introduceyourself Curation Post
Welcome new Steemians! I know things are a little quiet here at the moment, but just wait until the next altcoin run hots up! Make yourselves at home, and I hope you enjoy it here.

RE: Say “NO!” to KYC
Exactly. That's the service provided by the likes of THEKEY, Civic etc. Secure Identity Verification where the owner of the identity can control who gets what information.

RE: BTC – Beginning of the Week Analysis
Yeah, the altcoins have yet to drag themselves out of the capitulation ditch which BTC left over half a year ago.

RE: Don’t miss this one!
Then you simply don't take the option of converting your KCS to USDT. It is my intention to keep my KCS as KCS upon termination of the staking contract. Only in the event of an exceptional drop in token

RE: The Best Crypto Exchange just got Even Better! (Again)
Yeah, KuCoin 2.0 was a good step in the right direction - though perhaps not revolutionary in scope. But the continued development since then has been mind-blowing! Very impressive!

RE: Trying a Steem Wallet Feature for the First Time
Since the power-down feature has a natural delay to it and provides the benefits of a form of staking, I think that it is generally preferred to the Savings feature. But in your case - wanting to keep

RE: Give me Liberty, or give me Death! – Part 2
I agree with much of what you say here. That part I would disagree on is that intertwined debt leads to robustness because there is a common goal not to fail. From an engineering point of view I point

RE: It’s TOO QUIET in here…
Yeah, I give STEEM about 50/50 odds of rising from the ashes. A while ago I may have given it less chance, but when alts DO run, there will probably be people looking to invest ANYWHERE. It's hard to tell

RE: Give me Liberty, or give me Death! – Part 2
You make a good point. I guess my counter-point is that fiat makes it easier for the bad actors to manipulate the system to their advantage. Also it enables inflation - which is (quite literally) a killer.

I need more tag space, 5 is never enough and I always leave a few out as it is! Thanks though, I'll look into those tags for possible future use.
