Vřetenušky patří mezi motýly, i když na první pohled bych řekl, že je to můra. Druhy jsou si hodně podobné, liší se podle těch červených skvrn, tykadel nebo sem tam nějakého chloupku. Škoda, že v přírodě nejsou ochotné pořádně roztáhnout křídla, tak jak je ukazují v atlasu.
Spindles are among the butterflies, although at first glance I would say it's a moth. The species are very similar, they differ according to those red spots, tentacles or some hair here and there. It is a pity that in nature they are not willing to spread their wings properly, as shown in the atlas.
