Since our enemy is a reptile-reptile-plant and a bird does not have a high damage against them. I have let them killed my bird, but I utilized all my bird cards first before letting him kill it. Your cards are as important as your energy. Without utilizing it properly, you wouldn't be able to improve as a player.
