Greetings to you all at this time of the day in this great community, I hope you are all doing great just as I am, today is a lovely day out here and I feel like just to be in bed all through, it has been raining heavily that I had to lock myself inside my room, while laying down,I decided to share this beautiful outfit collection I made for my friend and her children, two girls and a little boy.
I was given this beautiful and colorful fabric by my friend to make different outfits for the family and this is what I was able to make
This pleated gown is one of the lovely outfits made in this collection that looks icated and I will like to share the cutting and sewing process with you, this step by step process was also used to achieve the one I made for the other girl since they are of same style but with different bodice measurements
I started by cutting out an off shoulder half length using the upper bodice measurements on a satin fabric for the front and back
I folded 8x4" fo r the strap on the shoulder, it was sewn to the off shoulder and turned with lining for neat finishing
I cut out a long piece from the main fabric and pleated it on the front bodice
I sew the back bodice to the front bodice and after which I trimmed the armhole circumference
For the lower part of the gown, I cut out a 180° flare with the waist circumference, full measurements and hemming allowance
The upper bodice was sewn to the lower part and I have this beautiful outcome
I proceeded to make a puff sleeve and sew it to the armhole circumference
This is the final and beautiful outcome of the pleated gown made for my friend's two daughters
Fo the little boy, I made a shirt and trouser for him from same fabric, trouser was made with and elastic waist band and this is the outcome
For my friend who is their mom, I made a simple short with long sleeve
This is all I made for the family and they were so happy to have their outfit, even my friend was surprised that I was able to make all these beaut outfits from the fabric she gave me
