Greetings to you all on this beautiful day, I hope you are are doing great, today from my sewing room,I will be sharing with you the step by step process on how I made a simple design of a fabric coaster using two colorful scrap fabric for a friend

I made a fabric coaster sometimes ago for myself which I use on my table, when my friend saw it, she was so surprised on how I made a useful project as such for my table and the usefulness of it, she insisted that I should make one for her which I promised and here it is.

Let's get started with the cutting and sewing process of this simple fabric coaster.

I brought out 2 different colors of scraps fabric a plain and African print fabric which was cut in circle of 5 pieces measuring the diameter of 5" each

2 pieces from each fabric was folded in two and secured with a pin

I placed the third African print fabric down and placed one folded plain satin fabric on it

I placed one folded African print fabric on the plain yellow fabric

I placed the last plain fabric on the African print fabric and it was held together

The last folded African print fabric was placed on the the plain fabric

It was taken to my sewing machine and it was sewn round and the excess fabric was trimmed off

It was turned to the right side through the opening at the center and this is the final outcome

My cup was placed on the fabric coaster to see how beautiful the outcome is

This is a beautiful craft idea you can make from your scrap fabric that is very useful.

My friend was so happy to have this coaster though she would have preferred a bigger one which I promised to make for her some other time.
