Greetings to you all on this beautiful day,I hope you are all having great time with your creativity, it is so nice to be here again today to share my creativity with you all in this great community, I will be sharing with you the making of this simple and useful card wallet made from scrap fabric.
I have been making different types of card wallet using different materials which turned out so beautiful and useful, but this is one of the simplest one I have made so far, it is very easy to make with little pieces of fabric. when you have some scrap fabrics and your are thinking of disposing them, I will advice you make something useful from them and give those pieces another purpose either for yourself or as gift to someone who will need and appreciate them.
This wallet can be used to secure those crds of yours before putting them in your bag or pouch, with this simple step by step process I will be sharing with you,you can as well try it out.
I brought out two different pieces of fabric from my scrap fabric and I measured and cut out 5 x 5 inches from one of the fabric
I folded it equally and cut it in two
Then I used bias tape to pipe it on the longer side of both pieces and it was set aside
From the other fabric, I measured and cut out 2 pieces measuring 5 x 6 inches
I placed the two pieces with the bias tape on both sides
To secure the cards, I cut out bias tape of 5 inches and placed it on one side of the pieces
I placed the other piece of fabric on it and it was sewn round leaving an opening where it can be turned to the right side
It was turned to the right side through the opening and was top stitched round
Ths is the final and beautiful outcome with some cards well arranged in it
With the cards in it, it was folded in two and secured with the elastic band at the back
I hope you like the simplicity and beautiful outcome of this simple card wallet I made from scrap fabric.
