Happy Sunday to you all on this beautiful day,I hope you are all doing great and having a wonderful time out there, today I will be sharing with you the making of this simple craft made from scrap fabric to make a beautiful Star fabric flower. The outcome is so nice and beautiful, so I will be showing you the step by step process below.
I have a black gown outfit I wear to church on Sundays and it's just a plain black outfit without any touch of other colors but this time, I decided to add more beauty and elegant to the outfit by making a simple fabric flower that can be detachable and replaced with another one anytime I feel like and this was what prompted me to make this fabric flower and it came out in twin after making it, so now, I can add one to my outfit and the other to my turban cap.
First step was to cut out 8 pieces of 4 x 4 inches of satin fabric of two colors with 4 from each color
Each color was folded in a triangular shape and pin down
The same process was repeated on all other piece as well
I combined the colors together one after the other with 1 inch intervals and it was pinned down at the middle
Next step was to use my hand needle and thread to run a long stitch by the side of the pins on both sides
After that, I removed the pins and used my scissors to cut it at the middle with the needle and thread still attached to it
The thread was used to gathered it together on both sides and knot together at the end of each flower
You can see how beautiful this is becoming, to cover the rough part at the middle, I used B-6000 glue to fix a sliver buttonat the middle to add more beauty to the final outcome.
This is the final and beautiful outcome of the fabric flower I made as an accessory for my outfit and my turban cap.
I hope you like the final and beautiful outcome, join me in my next post for more craft with love.
