What about limiting how many times per week/month 1 users votes count towards another? For example, if I upvote your comment or post today then upvote your comment or post tomorrow, the vote tomorrow doesn't

I like the idea of limiting votes, but perhaps spreading the weight between votes could be better. 1 vote = 100% weight, 2 votes = 50% each, 3 votes 33.334% each, etc.

I believe in making the most useful product. A site filled with self promotion isn't useful.

There must be a way to combat this kind of manipulation. Could downvotes help? Steemit will never become hugely popular if it's filled with this kind of promotion.

It also gets people talking about crypto which is important. Visibility is important.
