Well yesterday was eerie. Texted with my friend I haven't seen in ten years plus. We were tight when I was back home in the Caribbean. He gave his number to another friend and she sent it to me online. I didn't reach out at first. Not sure why maybe I didn't know what to say. Last night on a whim I texted him. He texted back and just like that we reconnected. Life is stranger than fiction no doubt and things happen in their own time and nothing besides. Felt good and real though. We were like brothers back in the day. He's one of the best people I know. Real stand up guy. The world has good people yet. Have a happy Easter penitents.
