Now I would like to show you my visit to the city where I lived in 2014-2018 and where the best times of my life were spent. Eskisehir. Student city Eskişehir. It is the place where I met my wife, completed my undergraduate education, and collected many memories.
Şimdi sizlere 2014-2018 yıllarında yaşadığım, hayatımın en güzel zamanlarının geçtiği şehre yaptığım ziyareti göstermek istiyorum. Eskişehir. Öğrenci şehri Eskişehir. Eşimle tanıştığım, lisans eğitimini tamamladığım, bir çok anı biriktirdiğim yer.
The last time I visited was three years ago. When a person really comes to this city once, I'm sure he will want to come back later. I consider this city as my second hometown. In 2022, I had an opportunity. I hit the road with my wife. We were both very excited. Because we were going to a place where we met and spent a lot of time together. We called an old friend on the way and booked our place at the hotel. We arrived at the hotel at midnight. Because we were tired, we went to sleep immediately and woke up early in the morning. We had our breakfast and started our exciting visit.
En son üç yıl önce ziyaretim olmuştu. İnsan gerçekten bu şehre bir kez geldiği zaman eminim daha sonra tekrar gelmek isteyecektir. Ben bu şehri ikinci memleketim olarak görüyorum. 2022 yılında bir fırsatım oldu. Eşimle yollara düştük. Her ikimizde çok heyecanlıydık. Çünkü tanıştığımız beraber bir çok vakit geçirdiğimiz yere gidiyorduk. Yolda eski bir arkadaşımı arayarak otelde yerimizi ayırttık. Gece yarısı otele geldik. Yorgun olduğumuz için hemen uyuyup sabah erken uyandık. Kahvaltımızı yapıp heyecanlı ziyaretimize başladık.

First, we started from the Odunpazarı region. We started our tour of Odunpazarı houses and the museums in this area. I want to mention it when I make a separate post about museums. Because I think they are all places that need to be explained separately. We visited these places maybe 50 times during the education period. Since the problems were different in those days, I felt different then what I feel today.
İlk olarak Odunpazarı bölgesinden başladık. Odunpazarı evlerini ve bu çevrede bulunan müzelerden geziye başladık. Müzeler hakkında ayrı bir paylaşım yaptığımda bahsetmek istiyorum. Çünkü hepsinin ayrı ayrı anlatılması gereken yerler olduğunu düşünüyorum. Bizler eğitim sürecinde belki de 50 kez buraları ziyaret ettik. O dönemlerde problemler farklı olduğu için bugün hissettiklerimi o zaman daha farklı hissediyordum.
Odunpazarı houses appeal to the eyes in terms of design. I wandered among the colorful buildings with my wife, as in the old days. As always, we bought from the shopkeepers selling magnets as souvenirs. 😊 Later, we drank our tea from the tiny tea shop in the vicinity. Like us, guests from other provinces were as excited as we were. We had to leave the woodpazarı area a little early because we had time constraints.
Odunpazarı evleri tasarım olarak gözlere hitap ediyor. Rengarenk binalar arasında eşimle yeniden eski günlerde olduğu gibi dolaştık. Magnet satan esnaflardan her zaman olduğu gibi hatıra olarak satın alım yaptık. 😊 Daha sonra çevrede minik çay ocağından çayımızı içtik. Bizim gibi diğer illerden gelen misafirlerde bizim gibi aşırı heyecanlıydı. Bizim zaman sıkıntımız olduğu için odunpazarı bölgesinden biraz erken ayrılmak zorunda kaldık.
Later, we came to the city center and came to eat our favorite wrap with my wife. The first meal we ordered in our student life. donas. Really great wrap.
Daha sonra şehir merkezine gelip eşimle en sevdiğimiz dürümü yemeye geldik. Öğrencilik hayatımızda ilk sipariş verdiğimiz yemek. Donas. Gerçekten harika bir dürüm.
After we had our dinner, we came to the Islands. Porsuk Stream. Every time I come here, all my stress goes away. It happened the same way again. I forgot my troubles temporarily. We drank our cold drinks in one of the businesses located by the river. Well, the weather is very hot. We really missed the city so much. Even the statues made in every corner of the city.
Yemeğimizi yedikten sonra Adalar'a geldik. Porsuk Çayı kenarı. Buraya ne zaman gelsem tüm stresim gider. Yine aynı şekilde oldu. Sıkıntılarım geçici süreliğine unuttum. Akarsu kenarında bulunan işletmelerin birisinde soğuk içeceklerimizi içtik. Malum hava çok sıcak. Gerçekten şehri çok özlemişiz. Şehrin her noktasına yapılmış heykelleri bile.
Passing through the street of bars, I went to the street of the house where we stayed during our student years. It was a really sad moment. The places we used to eat, the places we shopped, the tram we used... People get sad even though there are happy moments. Since we only have one day, we visited Sazova Park lastly. Barlar sokağından geçtikten sonra öğrencilik yıllarında kaldığımız evin sokağına gittim. Gerçekten hüzünlü anlardı. Eski yemek yediğimiz mekanlar, alış veriş yaptığımız yerler, kullandığımız tramvay... Ne kadar mutlu anlar olsa da insan hüzünleniyor. Sadece bir günümüz olduğu için son olarak Sazova Parkını ziyarette bulunduk. Güneş battı ve yola çıkma zamanı geldi. Benim için çok güzel bir gündü. Sizlerde okurken benim heyecanıma ortak olursunuz.
