Hello everyone, friends. When we visit a beautiful city, region, place, its effect stays on us for a long time. Today, I would like to talk to you about a beautiful place we discovered in the past weeks, in just such a village, and show you some photos.
Herkese merhaba arkadaşlar. Güzel bir şehri, bölgeyi, yeri veya mekanı ziyaret ettiğimizde etkisi üzerimizde uzun süre kalır. Bugün sizlere geçtiğimiz haftalarda tam olarak böyle bir köyde keşfettiğimiz güzel bir mekandan bahsetmek ve buraların birkaç fotoğrafını göstermek istiyorum.
This is Birgi Village Evi Cafe, which we found by chance in İzmir's Birgi village. When my husband and I take such local trips, we love to relax and have a drink in nostalgic places. After a nice tour of Birgi, my husband wanted to sit down and have a coffee. Since I couldn't enjoy tea after breakfast, I wanted to drink tea as well. While we were looking where we could sit, we saw Birgi Village Homes Cafe. While we were thinking that this place is for us, we entered with the kind invitation of the cafe employee.
Burası İzmir'in Birgi köyünde rastlantı sonucu bulduğumuz Birgi Köy Evi Cafe. Eşimde bende bu tarz yöresel geziler yaptığımız zaman nostaljik mekanlarda dinlenip bir şeyler içmeyi çok seviyoruz. Birgi'yi güzelce gezdikten sonra eşim bir yerde oturup kahve içmek istedi. Ben de kahvaltıdan sonra çay keyfini yapamadığım için zaten çay içmek istiyordum. Nerede oturabiliriz diye bakıyorken Birgi Köy Evi Cafeyi gördük. Buranın tam olarak bize hitap ettiğini düşünürken kafe çalışanının nazik daveti ile içeri girdik.
Kafenin ortasında mandalina ağaçları bile vardı bu doğal görünüm bence inanılmaz güzel duruyor.
We were quite surprised to see the inside of the cafe, as there is a place like a shop where local products are sold next to the cafe. We even thought that we made the right choice when we saw that the aunts were cooking pancakes in a part of the cafe. All employees warmed our hearts with their smiling faces. Especially the local conversations of the aunts were both very sweet and very funny.🤩 👵After sitting in a closed corner, we drank our tea and coffee. I wanted to explore the area until the drinks we ordered arrived. There was another more airy area, I guess, hookah etc. It is reserved for those who want to drink and those who come to visit more crowded groups. For those who want to take a souvenir photo, they put it on a small swing in a corner. I wanted to have a photo taken here, but my husband did not attract me by distracting me. When I thought about it later, the next time I told my husband I wanted to come here just to take pictures on this swing, she laughed, "Next time I'll take a picture." 📸📷
Kafenin içine görünce oldukça şaşırdık çünkü burası bir kafenin yanında yöresel ürünler satan bir dükkan gibiydi. Hatta kafenin bir bölümünde teyzelerin gözleme pişirdiğini de görünce çok doğru bir tercih yaptığımızı düşündük. Tüm çalışanlar güler yüzleriyle içimizi ısıttılar. Özellikle teyzelerin yöresel konuşmaları hem çok şirin hem çok komikti.🤩🥰👵Üstü kapalı bir köşeye oturduktan sonra kahvemizi ve çayımızı söyledik. Siparişler gelene kadar etrafı keşfetmek istedim. Üstü açık daha havadar bir alan daha vardı sanırım burda sigara, nargile vs. içmek isteyenler ve burayı ziyarete gelen daha kalabalık gruplar için ayrılmış. Hatıra fotoğrafı çekmek isteyenler için bir köşede ufak bir salıncak da koymuşlardı. Ben burda fotoğraf çektirmeyi çok istemiştim ancak eşim beni oyalayarak çekmedi.🥲 Bu durum benim sonradan aklıma gelince sırf burada bu salıncakta fotoğraf çektirmek için başka zaman tekrar buraya gelmek istediğimi eşime söylediğimde "söz bir dahakine gelirsek fotoğrafını çekeceğim" diye gülmüştü. 🥲📸📷
Then I took a look at the area where local products are sold. Everything looked great. There were completely handmade natural pastes, oils, dried peppers and dried figs. There were naturally fermented olives, olive oil and natural foods collected from olive trees growing in this region. Here, not only food and beverage, but also handmade wooden products were sold, as the aunts said. The smell of the pancakes they cooked in the wood fire spread very nicely around. However, before we came here, we were full because we had a snack at home. If we get a little hungry, I would definitely like to try the handmade pancakes of the aunts.
Daha sonra yöresel ürünlerin satıldığı alana göz gezdirdim. Her şey muhteşem gözüküyordu. Tamamen el ürünü doğal salçalar, domates sosları, kurutulmuş biberler, kurutulmuş incirler vardı. Bu yörede yetişen zeytin ağaçlarından toplanmış doğal fermente edilmiş zeytinler, zeytinyağları ve sayamayacağım kadar çok doğal yiyecekler vardı. Burada sadece yiyecek, içecek değil teyzelerin söylediği kadarıyla yine el yapımı ahşap ürünlerde satılıyordu. Odun ateşinde pişirdikleri gözlemelerin kokusu etrafa mis gibi dağılmıştı. Ancak buraya gelmeden önce evde bir şeyler atıştırdığımız için karnımız toktu. Eğer biraz açlık hissetmiş olsaydık teyzelerin el yapımı gözlemelerinden muhakkak denemek isterdim.
