Terry Pratchett was a fantasy/satire/comedy writer. you probably somewhere seen a illustration of flat earth on the back of 4 elephants on the back of the turtle :) that is Disk World and a lot of his books are in that world.

i feel that his stile of writing is hit or miss. He did everyday topics like movies, music, religion... in a fantasy world with a bit of humor in them. This one is about introduction of paper money. I just started it so i can't judge, but i like most of the disk world books.
