Portrait of Youth

This piece is a side-view sketch of a young man, capturing the quietness and simplicity of youth. I wanted to portray a stage of life filled with possibilities, dreams, uncertainties, and the journey of discovering oneself.

For this work, I explored the hatching technique to create shadows, depth, and facial structure. The pointed nose and carefully placed strokes helped give the portrait it's distinct character while maintaining a simple and expressive appearance.

Sometimes, a simple side profile can tell a whole story. This piece is my little reflection on youth, I identity, and the journey ahead. ✍️🎨
