A moment of Reflection (Portrait 🧕)

Hi Hivers
There is something interesting about capturing a face beyond its physical features. With this piece, I focused on the interplay light, shadow and expression, allowing the hatching to define the structure and give the portrait its character. I particularly enjoyed working through the darker areas, where the lines begin to do more than simply describe form
A study in observation, patience and the little details that make a portrait feel alive.
