Ohhhhhh. That is comfort food for the soul. That looks sooooo good.

Did I ever tell you that the last Mrs.BT captured me with 'Hocks and Beans'? I mean we'd had a couple of dates but she had some mutual friends for dinner and asked me to come. I just about didn't leave. Seriously.

I just love hearty soup like that. I put chili and sometimes stew in that category (the stew that doesn't thicken up-tastes good but no visual win). I haven't made it since I lived in Washington but I made a clam chowder that was pretty darn tasty. I could use canned clams for that (I do not trust the seafood here).

Now I need soup on top of everything else!
