Mine wasn't in Alaska but the characters remain the same. I know there are Huckleberrys in Alaska where the big bears roam. At least I think I know that. We had a couple Raspberry plants that were planted where the old chicken coop was. They grew to 8 feet tall and had more berries than you can imagine :)

I have a friend in San Diego that has an interest in the Bluebird Lodge in the Laguna Mountains in California. It's specialty is Blueberry Pancakes and they are sooooooo good. They have just sold the place and the new guy is going to make a pizza joint of it. Sigh.
