Fruits, I don't know I suppose one of my favorites are blueberries, just plain for munching as a snack. The best time for them are late in the year when they ripen in nature around August or September, fortunately you don't need to go and find the patch yourself as there are people that sell them at the feed stores and in the regular grocery stores when they come in season.

While waiting for the local one the ones from Chili are not to bad of an option, I do prefer the Alaska ones they seem to be a lot sweeter and that may be due to less travel time to the store.

After Blueberries I would say my second choice is raspberries. I miss the raspberry patch we had developed over five years at a previous house. We had a nice variety even some golden ones which I got to eat because my wife did not really like them that much. And the Jelly, the homemade raspberry jelly that my wife would make was unbelievable. We had friends that would ask to have some sent to them, it was so sweet with out being excessively sweet, and so clear, no cloudy red goo in a jar, just red jelly you could almost see through.

We also had some everbearing strawberries that were pretty good, I loved harvest time for the berries, you could go out and grab a handful of strawberries, and raspberries, fresh from the plants. We were never successful at growing the blueberries.
