Hive offers me the chance to write what ever I want, however I want. It lets me grow as a writer with every post I publish without fear of censorship of any sort and being based on a blockchain it stays forever.
(How Hive is different to other social media and blogging platforms)
Hive is on a decentralized blockchain so it’s not owned by anyone. Every one of us that holds a little Hive has a voice in the governance so you have some skin in the game. It’s a lot easier to care when you own a piece of the action!
I really like the set up of the comments on posts. It allows for lots of engagement and free flowing interaction with people that read those posts, better than anyplace that I know.

I’ve made some great friends on Hive! People I know, like and trust and some who even know, like and trust me. The list of people that I follow and interact with on a daily basis just keeps growing. For me, there is really only two. I like HiveBlog just fine and know my way around it, but I LOVE PeakD. It’s set up perfect for me and it just makes my time on Hive a pleasure.

Hive is the best place I know of on the internet for creators and curators of content. We have artists, bloggers, musicians, vloggers, and writers that intermingle and interconnect seamlessly.
Is it perfect? No, it’s not, but there is a huge team of dedicated Hivers working mostly behind the scenes to make it better all the time.
It’s a good place to spread your wings or build a nest.
