RE: A Couple in Hand
The more things change... 'Our Place' is real, and there are always changes-even in a rental. Like, for instance, I just changed the flapper in my toilet. It (finally) became apparent to me that I'd installed

Oh, and one further question. Were you invited to the PM's party? Any truth to the rumor that it was your anniversary bash? :)

Wow. That's some impressive construction technique. Maybe impressive isn't exactly the right word... I did a little work for a contractor buddy doing a big renovation to a house built in 1947. It was slab

There were lots of recognizable things here-and I showed some of the geometric patterns. All in all it was a pretty intense site, compact and 'busy'. The people that made these carvings lived in at least

Hmmmmm. I didn't think of using a negative to highlight the markings on the stone. I'll bet that would work (I'll try it on some of them). I had good light and could see at the sight better than it shows

At the end of the last ice age it was much wetter there in Central Nevada. I think the cedar trees would have been tall and lush. This survivor is just hanging on... Even 'High Desert Petroglyph Site'

Damn. I've never had an ear infection or lost hearing for anything over minutes. I'd not like that at all. Not to mention that I don't do pain particularly well. I hope yours is done forever. I love the

I have to tell you, I like our word better. Whine. Because I can say "You want some cheese and crackers with that whine?". But since you opened that bottle I might as well partake. I'm tired

Oh, heavens no. I might learn it, or just fake it, but it'd be better than naming it for the owner. I always thought the Western Cedar was a sort of attractive tree. It's tall and mostly straight with

Somebody needs to convince US that Mother Nature is headed for a breakdown. She already knows. There is an official proposal to eliminate Glen Canyon Dam (as of yesterday) in a water saving measure. Not

I'd never ridden all of US 50. Parts and pieces over the years but this was my first time using it as the primary road. It was great. I don't think it was the loneliest road I was on, but traffic was very
