Many Christians take the law into their own hands thinking that justice can be done by them. David according to the book of Psalm 7:1-17, he wrote a cry it as a cry to God for justice and vindication at the time the Israelites were think he is plotting the end Saul's life. 1 Samuel 24:9-15, in times when we are accused falsely what are our reactions at that time..?.

When we read the book of Psalms, it teaches us how to respond as Christians to slanders and accusations. The Psalmist teaches us that we need not to take matters into our hands seeking revenge when hurt but rather we need to turn them into prayers before the Lord for it is by Him that all vindication and justice belong to.

Deuteronomy 32:35-36
"It is mine to avenge; I will repay. In due time their foot will slip; their day of disaster is near and their doom rushes upon them."
32:36 The LORD will judge his people and have compassion on his servants when he sees their strength is gone and no one is left, slave or free."

As a Christians we need to constantly access our life's and see that is there anything that the devil can use in advantage over our life's. Man judges can be bias but it is only God who is a righteous Judge and punish evil. When we allow to take its course, evil will always destroy itself.
