We have been hearing about tithing and whether it is important to the faith. Many people might criticise those believers who are inconsistent in paying their tithes. Pastors have been telling people to bring out their tithes and pay. But when we moved into a newer church, we found that tithing was just a promise made by.
Tithing was just a law made during the Old Testament. And in Deuteronomy 8 vs 18, it says that, And you shall remember the Lord your God, for he who gives you power to great worth, that he may establish his covenant, which he swore to your fathers, as it is in this day. When we write it, this shows that you have the ability to make it worth, and also God gives us that ability, and we still have to return the glory back to God.
Malachi also say that "bring all their tithes to the store that there may be food in my house. And try me, say the Lord, if I'm not opening the door to everyone and pour out for such a blessing that there will be no room enough to receive it.
This does show that we should bring our tithes to our house with God. It's a commandment to us and assurance that we will get the blessing of God. If we are giving, it is not a fixed amount, but our heart is pleased in our heart and how God has blessed us.
There is no fixed amount that we are giving to it. We just have to give according to our heart and according to how He has blessed us.
