Today Home Depot under preformed the market which is disappointing for me. As the market was way up Home Depot finished just barely green. Contrary to the other days when the market was down Home Depot was flying. I don't really understand why it has decoupled from the broader market but it has. So I guess I will be hoping for a down day.
As in my post I got way more money into this trade than I wanted to, and I have broken all my rules. So far it has only hurt me a little bit, but if I can get to the 280 mark I will be fine, but if I get another down day it could really set me back in my account quite a bit, and set me way back on my trading goal.
I will need to evaluate it tomorrow but if I am up will probably just take it off the table and look for the next trade.
