Well I finally got a scale, and it was for our present exchange with the family. Part of me has not gotten one, because as I feel I am finding good gold. It might in fact not be that much. Well I started the last trip, and it was the most gold I have ever found. It was .494 of a gram. Which is like 25 bucks. Not bad for a hour of digging, only problem is it is a 2.5 hour drive round trip.
Then I added the rest from 3 trips. Granted 2 were panning, and only one had the machine. But it was only another .116 of a gram. So like 6 bucks worth of gold. I have some other stuff to weigh, but now that I have something to compare it too. Probably only another .2 of a gram.
So not as much as I would like but hey. Now that I got it dialed in, and know where some gold is. I would like to see what I would get if I went for a 4 hour period.
